What changes from the factory design?

• Swaged steel tips: Replace the plastic tip retainers used on some factory year models.
• DLC-coated trunnions: A wear-resistant coating on the rocker pivot, designed to reduce friction at that interface.
• Revised oiling: Designed to address lubrication and galling at the rocker assembly.
• Updated casting: An OEM-style replacement design with Hamilton Cams casting improvements.

Check your engine application

The listed application is the 1998.5–2018 24-valve Cummins. For a 1998 truck, confirm that it has the 24-valve engine. For a 2019 or newer engine or a conversion build, contact us to identify the correct rocker assembly before ordering.

Tell us your truck year, camshaft, valve springs, pushrods and any cylinder-head changes. We can help you check the combination before you buy. Engine modifications can change the setup requirements.
